Description
Dynamic Canned Motor for slurry application is so designed that the pumped liquid is obstructed from entering into the motor chamber by a clean compatible liquid, which is flushed from the rear inlet port through a back flushing line. This system also lubricates the bearings. An auxiliary impeller located at the front end of the rotor circulates the flushing fluid through an integral heat exchanger to minimize frictional and electrical Heat. A clean compatible buffer fluid supply is pumped in and is constantly re-circulated within the motor section to provide cooling and bearing lubrication and to prevent solids migrating into the motor.
